I used to think that resistance is the only path to justice

Then I was reminded of all those who came before me

I was reminded of all those who worked together for justice

Justice work is hard work, but justice work is work that we do together

It never has to be lonely work

And it never has to be defined by what we are resisting

Instead it can be defined by what we are working towards so that work may continue until all our battles are won
