2017 has come to a close and so has this particular writing process. Although I didn’t write as much as I anticipated, I did write more than I had written in a long time. The process also helped me remember just how much I love writing haiku’s and that the more I practice the better I get. Cheers to ending the year writing and beginning the year writing.
2017 Poetry project
Day 23
Surprise birthday gifts
Bring unexpected sorrow but
Also expected joy
Day 22
Moon lite nights erase
Memories of what never was
Beams shone on true paths
Day 21
Numbness of grief, breathe
Old friend gone, gone, gone today
but her Smile lives on
Day 20,
Vulnerable, yes
Scary yes, to read words
Written so freely
Day 19
Sun risings always seem
Just for me, but I’ll share them
But please bring coffee
Day 18
Little lights flicker
Such a small delight during
Happy Sad Seasons
Day 17
The giddiness of
New love brightens my days with
Soft, easy, bold smiles
Day 16
Nope, never alone
their strength, love and grace breathing
Joy into my roots
Day 15th
Home in small places
Wandering, wondering joys
Rooted all spaces
